Our products are installed in-District, on your server.

our customers tend to share that belief that the true power of computer software appears when you link information to and from other information in the District. By installing our products in-District, we are able to easily share data with your other systems, networks, and to better ensure that your information is always available. Of course, for districts that do not need to integrate with other in-District systems, we're happy to host the products for you—on our servers.

Our products have a single one-time License cost

Our products do not have an ongoing cost. Each product has a one-time cost based on the District size and features needed. Annual software support and maintenance is also available, at an additional cost. That support includes on-site, telephone, and remote support as well as product updates. We work hard to include most changes as part of Software Support and Maintenance. As a general rule, we try to not charge for features--but simply make them part of the core application.

We are proud to have earned the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status with the Microsoft Corporation. The Microsoft Partner Program has three levels, each with increasingly-difficult-to-attain membership levels—Registered Members, Certified Partners, and Gold Certified Partners. The Gold Certified Partner status is awarded only to companies that have proven their expertise in delivering Microsoft-based products. We are extremely proud to be a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Being recognized at the top partner level by Microsoft is outstanding; our customers use Microsoft products throughout their infrastructure so a deep understanding of the technology driving their networks, web sites, and other systems is crucial. Our work with Microsoft helps us deploy the most advanced software available. We’re thankful that Microsoft has recognized our success, this helps us to further distinguish us from others and gives us the closest working relationship with Microsoft. Accomplishing these competencies is no easy task, as applicants must demonstrate proven expertise through product testing, product knowledge, customer references, and more.

We are a Michigan company

We are located in Rochester, Michigan, a great suburb about 35 miles Northeast of Detroit. Rochester is an outstanding community with a warm, lively population. We're fortunate to share our city with Oakland University, and to be surrounded by many world-class organizations and groups of people: University Of Michigan, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Chrysler Corporation, and many others. We are also 45 minutes from the Canadian border, and just 4 hours from Toronto and Chicago. We're surrounded by the fresh water of the Great Lakes and many outstanding outdoor adventure spots.

We work exclusively with K-12 and higher education

We work exclusively with Education customers. While our in-house background may have included other corporate roles in the past, we work full-time, exclusively with K-12 and higher education customers. We can share success that others have had—and how they did it—as well as how they avoided major pitfalls.

We constantly strive to improve our products. We watch closely where technology is moving and adjust our products to help you capitalize on those changes. Likewise, as we work with our customers, we learn new and different ways to get things done and adjust our products to accommodate those new abilities—or at least to offer those abilities as easily as possible.

Technology used in our products

Our applications are built using industry-standard technologies, including Microsoft® Windows, IIS (Internet Information Server), .net, Active Server Pages (.asp), javascript, and SQL Server. And they can share the same username and password with each other, or with your existing Microsoft® or Novell networks—no new usernames and passwords are required!
